A 1 of 1 Experience
Daddy Daughter Couture was born out of a horrible high school senior prom dress experience. After a local freelance U.S. designer tried to scam the student, her dad—who is a professional portrait photographer—stepped in to assist his daughter in designing and manufacturing the dress she envisioned for her Class of 2025 prom.
The catch? Dad was 7,000 miles away in Cape Town, South Africa.
The clock was ticking, and we had less than 10 days to find a designer, source fabric, and get the dress made. Needless to say, we got it done—and Amore (our daughter) was able to enjoy an elegant, one-of-a-kind prom experience without the drama of being taken advantage of or worrying about looking like anyone else at the event.
The design process went so smoothly that we decided to partner with local designers in South Africa to offer the same one-of-one couture experience to teens and women in the United States who want to make a bold statement when attending special events.

The Design Process
1: Inquiry & Design Consultation
Our design process starts with getting to know you and your vision. This starts with you filling in our inquiry form. Click Here
4. Garment Design Approval
After the final design is complete, we host one last virtual for preview for final approval and shipping.
2. Contract & Deposit
After the inquiry consultation, an initial deposit will be required to start sourcing material. A sketch design will be created for your approval. Once approved, fabrics will be sourced the stitching will begin.
5. Shipment & Track
Once the garment is boxed and ready for shipment, a tracking number will be sent via email for tracking purposes.
3. Garment Design Preview
Once the initial framing of the dress is complete. We will have a virtual preview for approval before completing the final embelishments and design
6. Virtual Final Fitting
Once the garment arrives we will host a final virtual fitting to make sure everything fits to your liking.
